PUBLIC ART COMMISSIONS
"We must never forget that art is not a form of propaganda; it is a form of truth." ~ John F. Kennedy, 35th President of the United States
In 2018, I was selected by the La Plaza Village Project to create an image for the 7-story flagship mural which would be installed on the northwest corner of the residential tower at N. Broadway and Arcadia Street facing west over the city toward the Pacific Ocean. The LPV complex, which covers two city blocks, is dedicated to the city's Mexican cultural heritage and history. Los Angeles was founded in 1781 and named for its patroness,
Nuestra Senora la Reina de Los Angeles.
